The interface for the release local service.

This is a local service. Methods of this service will not have security checks based on the propagated JAAS credentials because this service can only be accessed from within the same VM.

addRelease

Release addRelease(Release release)
                   throws SystemException

Adds the release to the database. Also notifies the appropriate model listeners.

Parameters:

release - the release

Returns:

the release that was added

Throws:

SystemException - if a system exception occurred

createRelease

Release createRelease(long releaseId)

Creates a new release with the primary key. Does not add the release to the database.

Parameters:

releaseId - the primary key for the new release

Returns:

the new release

deleteRelease

Release deleteRelease(long releaseId)

Deletes the release with the primary key from the database. Also notifies the appropriate model listeners.

Parameters:

releaseId - the primary key of the release

Returns:

the release that was removed
